Our 4,300 sq. ft. western red cedar log home has open beams, the warmth & smell of natural cedar, skylights and large view windows bringing wonderful sea and mountain views into every room. We have a Glass Dining Room where you dine eye-level with eagles in flight while enjoying culinary artistry wherein we feature northwest cuisine that is so hearty, our guests often skip lunch!
After an active day of sight-seeing in Juneau, our guests often enjoy the beautifully appointed great room overlooking Gastineau Channel and Mt. Douglas. Located adjacent to the glass dining room, this room provides beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere to read a book or the local newspaper, enjoy conversation with other guests, play the piano, enjoy one of our many board games, or simply just sit and relax with a glass of wine or hot cup of tea at the end of the day. If you would like to relax outdoors, you can enjoy our large deck overlooking Mt. Douglas and Gastineau Channel - the perfect place to enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Who knows, you may see a black bear or two wander down the road or view a pod of whales in Gastineau Channel!
Unlike many B &B's, we have a professional chef and a full-time hostess to serve your needs during your stay. Neither the innkeepers - nor their family - live in the facility. This ensures our guests a quiet and relaxing vacation. However, our Inn is family friendly, offering cribs and high chairs for use by our smaller guests!
All of our guests have access to an extensive library for their reading enjoyment as well as a movie library containing over 1,000 titles. We also have many board games for our younger guests - or the young at heart! All suites and rooms offer views of Gastineau Channel and the beautiful mountains of Juneau!
